We’re always on the lookout for a great story. If you reach out to us? Please share your story. We’re experienced wedding photographers (think a few hundred weddings) and there’s nothing like a good story to inspire us and make us want to photograph yours.
I’M EXCITED ABOUT YOUR PHOTOGRAPHY, WHAT SHOULD I ASK YOU?
Ask us about the work. Ask about how we approach every couple’s wedding with care, respect and deference and at the same time keep it fun and relaxed throughout. Ask us how we will make sure your wedding is photographed beautifully and how we will help make your wedding day a day to remember. But don’t just ask us, read what our couples have to say.
HOW DO YOU MAKE SURE WE GET GREAT PICTURES?
We alway start with a plan and we work with you before the wedding day to find out about your needs, your wants and your concerns. We help you set the ground work for a fantastic day. So no surprises. Along the way we also send you some handy tip sheets like how to create the perfect wedding pictures. It’s important to emphasize that you get to tell us what your expectations are. We can be as hands-off or as hands-on as you like.
HOW DO WE PLACE A RESERVATION?
We work on a first come, first serve basis. A signed electronic contract and a retainer is required to secure your wedding date. Sadly, we cannot hold dates for you without a contract and retainer.
HOW DO WE GET OUR PICTURES?
By download via your gallery after your wedding comes online. It’s a simple process. Enter your email, receive a .zip folder that holds all of your wedding pictures in full resolution and without any watermarks. Print and share them to your heart’s desire.
WHEN DO WE GET OUR PICTURES?
We deliver your entire wedding portfolio a week to 10 days after your wedding. This is something few photographers do and we’re proud to say we never missed a deadline for delivery.
HOW DO WE PAY YOU?
When you book us, upon signing the contract, a retainer is due. The balance of the coverage is due 30 days before your wedding day. We accept checks or money orders. Unfortunately, we do not accept credit card’s for coverages. We do accept CCs for orders placed online through our gallery after the wedding.
Complete coverage starts around $1,000. You can also hire us by the hour. Contact us. We will send you a detailed price list and you can generate your own quote based on your needs and your budget.
An intricate, touching portfolio of your day ready to view in days not weeks. • Wedding web site • Signature collection, the best of the best • An album design, there are many intriguing choices, and you can proof and edit all of it online. • A collection of finished images with personal printing rights downloaded to your desktop.
HOW FAR OUT SHOULD WE BOOK YOU?
Much of our 2018 summer is booked and we’re starting to see inquiries for 2019. So don’t wait. If you’re looking now? Then chances are good other couples with your wedding date are too. Ideally, give yourself 6-8 months lead time. The earlier, the better.
WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT?
We have a specific style and approach. We’re shooting for feeling, emotion and history. We want people to feel what we see. We want you to love it, of course. But we actually think: How will your photos affect the next generations? We want your kids-kids-kids-kids to know you. We’re creating a testimony to your lives.
WHAT DO YOU LOOK FOR WHEN YOU SHOOT A WEDDING?
Historical Documentation: The unfolding of your wedding in classic moments that belong only to you. The palpable emotion and feeling behind ceremony, ritual, family and group photos, the story of bride and groom—together, separately.
Your Vision: We shoot with our eyes–and yours.
Heart: The love story between you, your family, your friends.
Beauty: In so many forms: Emotion. Nature. Color. Light. Texture.
Surprise: We’re always watching for the glance, the touch, the unexpected juxtaposition, the breakout moments.
DO YOU LOVE WHAT YOU DO?
This isn’t something we generally tell people–it’s something they tell us. Our pleasure and passion for the photography reveals itself in our work. We’re rarely without camera in hand. We divide our time equally between the stuff we like to shoot, and the stuff we like to shoot.
