Garden of the Gods Club Wedding : Alicia & Marc

Alicia and Marc were married Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Garden of the Gods Club. They celebrated afterwards with a reception at the Colorado Springs Country Club. You know it's going to be a great wedding when the bride and groom explain to you their passion for old movies and then show you a photograph that makes them look like a dead ringer for Vivien Leigh and Clark Gable in that famous Gone With The Wind movie poster. Alicia and Marc are hopeless romantics and their wedding day started with a lovely private moment in front of a view of snowcapped Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods. During Alicia and Marc's outdoor ceremony at the sunrise terrace a snow storm came in from the mountains, but that made the ceremony even sweeter. It was a fabulously beautiful wedding day and a great way to start the year. Thank you Alicia and Marc for inviting me to photograph your wedding! — Sean
Alicia and Marc were married on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at the Garden of the Gods Club. They celebrated with a reception in the evening at the Colorado Springs Country Club. Alicia wanted her wedding day to be like an old Hollywood movie. When she first met Marc she said told me she didn't give him the time of day until she learned that he was just as passionate about old movies as she was. After seeing Alicia for the first time during their private moment, Marc confided to me later that he thought Alicia was a dead ringer for actress Ava Gardner. I couldn't agree more. Alicia's style and her beauty were both stunning. It didn't hurt that their backdrop was a snowcapped mountain that changed throughout the day from sun to snow. See more pictures from their wedding
