Colorado Springs Engagement Photography

Colorado Springs Engagement PhotographyI photographed Katie and Justin's engagement in a rain storm last weekend. It's not what you think though. It was absolutley beautiful and came complete with rainbows. The first stop was The Drive In, an ice cream shop where we watched as the storm clouds blew in and then out:) Then we went to the Garden of the Gods. I love the pictures of Katie and Justin holding their umbrella. And then there was an incredible sunset with overhanging clouds catching the last rays. Wow... Their courtship started in the Air Force when they met as junior officers stationed in San Diego.  Katie and Justin are planning a destination wedding at the Broadmoor Hotel in September. Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie is helping to plan their wedding day. Thank you both for a wonderful evening. I'm very much looking forward to your wedding day! — Sean

Colorado Springs Wedding Photographers - Cayton Photography is a husband and wife wedding and event photojournalism team based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.I met Bonnie and Kelly at the Garden of the Gods Club last Saturday where they are going to have their rehearsal dinner before their planned wedding in September. Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods were especially beautiful, in part because the winter light that afternoon literally painted the mountains in a deep blue. Bonnie and Kelly are from Texas and they're planning a destination wedding at the Broadmoor Hotel. Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie is helping them coordinate their wedding weekend. We are scheduled to photograph a host of activities including the rehearsal dinner and a golf outing at the Broadmoor. Bonnie and Kelly are wonderful and go together like peas and carrots. I'm so looking forward to their wedding day. — Cathy

Colorado Springs Wedding Photographers - Cayton Photography is a husband and wife wedding and event photojournalism team based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.I photographed Gretchen and Mark's engagement at the Garden of the Gods last week. Gretchen and Mark traveled from Tyler, Texas to enjoy a fall weekend at the Broadmoor and tie up last minute details of their destination wedding also at the Broadmoor in March. Carolyn of Classic Designs is helping them plan their wedding. As the sun edges further south, the late day light is really beautiful. We also took advantage of the change in seasons photographing in the Rockledge Ranch garden with its sunflowers and pumpkin patch. Thank you Gretchen and Mark.
