Woodland Park Engagement : Jaimi & Ryan

I photographed Jaimi and Ryan's Woodland Park engagement just before the holidays. Jaimi and Ryan are planning a July wedding at a private ranch in Woodland Park. Their ceremony will be held outside in a field that offers uninterrupted views of Pikes Peak and their reception will also be held outdoors. Maggie of Celebrations by Maggie is helping Jaimi and Ryan plan their wedding and Event Rents is providing tents for the reception. I photographed Jaimi and Ryan in a variety of settings on the property. They wanted a wintery feel to the pictures and we kept rescheduling in hopes for snow. And still, the temperature in late December was unseasonably warm. We did manage to find some snow though and we also found a lot incredibly scenic backdrops (think red rocks, Aspen groves and a field of knee high grass that offers a refuge to wildlife in the winter.)
