Colorado Springs Dance Theatre’s — Dance, Dessert & Dreams

On Sunday, Colorado Springs Dance Theatre put on its annual performace Dance, Dessert and Dreams. This is the second year I have photographed the production by six local dance studios and I can report there is nothing more beautiful than a dancer on stage, balanced perfectly on one toe or suspended in mid-air in perfect symmetry with other dancers. Still photography and dancing, it seems, go together like peas and carrots. Only the still image truly captures this wonderful art in a way that nothing else can, except perhaps painting. I'm very much looking forward to next year. – Sean
